Why did I start Evergreen K9?
Passionate. Patient. Persistent.
I am Hailee, lead trainer and owner of Evergreen K9 LLC. I started Evergreen K9 in January 2020 after graduating from Ferndog Training Academy. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I always had a furry friend by my side, spanning from Dachshunds, Boxers, Collies, Pit Bulls, and even Saint Bernards (3 of them, to be exact!). Before dog training, I started working at my local Veterinary ER in 2018 as a Veterinary Receptionist while studying to be a Vet Tech (Veterinary Nurse). I left my position in 2023 to dog train full time.
My dream for Evergreen K9 started when I discovered behavior euthanasia. Before working in the veterinary setting, I had no clue a dog could be "put down" just because of their behavior. However, I soon realized that most families who euthanized their beloved dogs due to aggression or bite history (among other behavior issues) didn't first seek a trainer. So, deep down, I knew there had to be another way. That's when I decided to make helping dogs and their humans my life's purpose.
Fast forward and I'm doing exactly what I set out to do. I have helped families and their dogs co-exist and thrive together. I've saved over a dozen families' heartbreak, not to mention their dogs' lives. In addition, I continue to further my education about canine behavior and training techniques.
Not all dogs are born from the same mold, with the same personalities and needs. Instead, they each have unique traits and mannerisms, requiring individual and specialized training.

Whether for basic manners or more complex behavioral issues, I'm focused on training and teaching you how to communicate effectively with your beloved furry family member.
A little bit about myself that isn't dog training related;
I live with my three dogs, and cat-- Along with my husband, of course! I love coffee, camping, drawing, writing, and playing video games with Dj, my husband. :)
